Everyone was great.
I chose this center for myself because I had been here before. I love everyone here--Candace and Zach are always good to me--and I am happy with my experience at the center.
Since being here at Greystone, I have experienced fear, sadness and depression but the staff has been extremely helpful, kind and uplifting. Every person in Physical Therapy and Respiratory Therapy has been professional while friendly and encouraging. The nurses carried out their duties In the same style with friendliness and professionalism.I have to say that the CNA’s work is extremely hard, lifting, positioning, helping patients in the most difficult and often undesirable ways. I have great admiration for them and realize the mental and physical toll it takes on each person. Patients are often afraid, angry and difficult to work with and it takes special people within all departments to help them smoothly reach their goals.I would recommend this facility because of the above mentioned qualities. Zac Breedlove and his staff deserve mention because they pull this all together and make it work. Thank each of you for helping me reach my goals, your kindness and friendliness. It made everything easier and within reach.
Everyone was good to me!
Greystone was referred to (Steven's) conservator and me by Bristol Speciality Hospital in Bristol.
The staff at Greystone has gone above and beyond what was required from the housekeeping department to the administrator. Jeff in Marketing has been on board since Day 1! We were advised by JCMC to unhook him and let him go. They said because of his mental state, Steven was not a candidate for a trach. I thank God every day we did not listen. Greystone therapy has performed miracles.
PT and RT were great. Thye helped me progress enough that I am now going home. Everyone here was great to me.
Penny M. was great; she was always nice to me.
Danielle, Ginger, and Susie were great!
Mary Jo Goodwin
I enjoyed Greystone a lot!
The Maxey Family
Dear Mr. Mandrell,
We wanted you to know how much we appreciate the excellent care my husband (Samuel “Jasper” Maxey) received at your facility. He came there from another facility in which he received poor care. He had lost 20 pounds in two weeks and was unable to walk due to weakness from the treatment in the previous facility. However, thanks to the physical therapists at Greystone, he learned to walk again.
Your employees had unbelievable compassion when urging him to learn to walk again. I could never repay Siavek for what he did. The first day he met my husband, he sat in the room with him on the bed and hugged him and gained his trust. He never once gave up on him and had him walking the hall before we left. Also, Dee was excellent and is such a compassionate person. She was greatly appreciated.
All the nurses provided great care. Our family could not believe the difference in the care. We also wanted to mention another person who stood out in our mind. It is Jerry Brown. He did each and everything he could do in order to make us all feel at ease. This continued till the day my husband left Greystone. We wanted you to know he goes over and above what is required of him. It was very apparent and we greatly appreciate him. We won’t ever forget his compassion and caring attitude.
You are lucky to have the staff you do at Greystone. I am so thankful that with your help and that of his current home health providers, Amedisys, my husband is doing well and he can walk with only a cane and can even get up and down a few steps. That shows what caring hearts can do for anyone who may have otherwise given up.
Mr. Mandrell,I couldn’t believe you took it upon yourself to help program my husband’s TV and to help us as you did his first day there. All facilities need an administrator like you. Please feel free to share the contents of this letter with the employees (and/or your superiors) we mentioned, etc. We could never thank you all enough.
